One of the great part about blogging is that even if you can’t attend a blog conference yourself there are other ways to follow what went on.
Twitter is probably one of the most used during such conference for both attendees and other non-attendees to follow the stream to hear about what was buzzing or what information other bloggers learned.
But sometimes, following the twitter stream might not be feasible for you or it wasn’t enough to convey the message in 140 characters.
Another way to read up about another blog conference is to read up the recap blog posts from various bloggers who attended the conference.
The Travel Blog Exchange 2010 was the 2nd year of TBEX and it was hosted in New York City in Jun. The conference was a big success. Travel bloggers from different walk of life and different part of the world converged together that weekend to laugh, to drink, to learn, to share and to connect.
I was fortunate to be a part of such a supportive community.
Here are some of the recap of TBEX 2010:
- Brian of No Debt World Travel provided a detail and very information recap of day 1 as he called ‘TBEX 2010 – Family Reunion Disguised as a Travel Blogger Conference‘

- Melanie of Travels with Two wrote about A Travel Bloggers’ State of the Union which had pretty much sum up the whole weekend in such an easy to follow read.
- I love reading list and The ABC’s of TBEX from Andrew of Brooklyn Nomad is just what I like.
